It was small and tiny and agile, but his eyes had caught sight of it despite the darkness.

Before long, a jackal figure came rushing in, jumping on the spotlight given by the torch he used to light up the way. He'd try to move it to another direction, only for the Riolu to chase after it, pouncing on it like a young pup. He'd always done this for his Poochies back when they were Poochyena. It lost its charm back then cause he always did it, but having someone else do it was refreshing to say at least.

With every movement, the Riolu would follow. Kyle would start accelerating the speed at which he moved the spotlight, with the Riolu matching it competitively. With a quick flick to the wall, the Fighting-type would fling himself just to chase after it, smacking himself and knocking him out cold with the sudden impact.

Kyle would throw a ball at it. It was entertaining, and it looked like a dog. It deserved a spot on his PC, to be stored indefinitely until he needed someone cute in his team.
